A recent development for activating automaticlifejackets. The Hammar Hydrostatic head inflates the lifejacket on immersion only and not on contact with water. This works by opperating on water preussure and so is not affected by damp environments or when shipping water on deck. The lifejacket is avaliable with integral safety harness and in red only.
